In your journeys in Skyrim when you
spend some time in Morthal, involving quest Laid to Rest, amongst
many characters you meet Laelette.
Unfortunatelly you and Laelette will
not enjoy each other for long.
The first and last interaction with
Laelette is limited to only one - Laelette will attack you in Morthal
cemetery when you both are searching for Helgi.
Who then Laelette is?
She is a vampire and servant of Alva.
She used to be wife of Thonnir. After Alva (also vampire) turned her
she spreaded rumours (especially because of her husband was searching
for her) that Laelette escaped with Stormcloaks.
When Alva fell in love with Hroggar
(and wanted to keep him as her servant and protector of her coffin
forever) she commanded Laelette to kill his wife and daughter and
make it look like an accident.
However Laelette failed to do it
properly and instead she burned house with Hroggar´s wife and
daughter inside. While burning Laelette´s heart moved and she tried
to save Helgi, Hroggar´s daughter from death. She gave Helgi her
vampire blood but it was too late and the girl died anyway.
Later Laelette became obsessed with
Helgi and came to cemetery every night trying to bring Helgi back to
life. And finally, that is where you and Laelette meet.
